Hey there, I’m Courtney and I am the author behind The Anime Tourist. I am 25 years old and I am currently studying Digital Marketing at University.
During the lockdown of 2020, I started watching anime to fill the free time I had. I have watched many shows before but it didn’t really become a hobby until recently.
I created The Anime Tourist as a creative outlet to put my thoughts and feelings around shows I have been watching out there. I found it difficult watching emotional or exciting shows but having nobody to talk to about them.
I thought it would be cool if I could help other fans decide what to watch, and also to create a conversation to compare thoughts and theories, and just enjoy anime together!
